| The UNH-IOL is pleased to announce Optical and Electrical testing for Fibre Channel devices, currently with speeds up to 8G.
The UNH-IOL Fibre Channel Consortium has created a Optical Test Suite based on the T11 FC-PI-4 Rev 8 Standard (up to 8G).
The UNH-IOL Fibre Channel Consortium has also created an Electrical Test Suite based on the T11 FC-PI-2 Rev 10.0 Standard (up to 4G).
The Fibre Channel Consortium will soon be offering Physical Layer Electrical testing for 8G speeds (based on FC-PI-4). |
The UNH-IOL has been testing, debugging, and refining Fibre Channel software and hardware since 1995. Experienced third-party lab testing, fueled by leading-edge test tools and a growing test bed, saves costs and time getting Fibre Channel, including 4Gig products, to market. To facilitate conformance and interoperability, UNH-IOL has developed an array of carefully researched test suites. UNH-IOL engineers capture in-depth information from these tests in confidential, detailed reports that member companies can use to boost internal R&D, saving significant time and cost to market. Companies may also choose to provide these reports to their customers as third-party evidence of high quality conformant and interoperable products.
